Sugar and Spice Meets Snails and Puppy Dog Tails: Back in Beijing!

Well we made it back to Beijing. After a long wait in the airport and a delay with our flight and another delay after boarding we made it here at about 12:30 am last night. But the good new is both Caleb and Clara slept the whole flight. Clara fell asleep before we boarded and after we landed! Many other families did not get home till after 3 am so really we did good.

Today we completed a bit more paper work for Clara's Citizenship and then we thought we would venture out to the market. Caleb was in his glory as there was one whole floor dedicated to toys! We had fun bartering for a cheaper price. Much to Clara's dismay we bought a stroller but this girl weigh's a ton and when she is walking she likes to run. Just to dangerous around here. But she also got a doll! We then crossed the street and went to the grocery store for some much needed supplies like chips, cookies, banana's.
A visit to the grocery store and market is like an experience like no other. It is no small feat with all of the sights, sounds and of course smells.

After relaxing in our room for a bit we headed out for supper. Lets just say it was no boring with so many new little people at the table! It was fun to watch Clara work her chopsticks, she was the best at the table.

Both kids are doing great. Caleb and Clara played with each other a bit today, it was nice to see.

Clara continues to amaze us with how well she is doing. She is warming up to her Daddy and even dressed him up as a princess with earrings and a tiara..sad to say the camera was being charged so no picture. She also is finding out how great her grandparents are and even gave her Grammie a pedicure!

Everyone one is asleep including Bernie, just going to hide the Easter eggs. Tomorrow is the Great Wall!
