Hey everybody, I hear there are alot of people out there looking for an update, well here it is... Caleb is doing great we can already see so many changes from when we got home on Friday. He is usually full of smiles and laughter and loves to play! His favorite thing to do is to walk back and forth carrrying his toys but he misses his uncle Shawn who walked with him. Food is also one of his favorite things and tonight he had ice-cream and had fun trying to feed himself with a spoon. Bread is also one of his favorite foods.
I think the jet lag is leaving all of us and Caleb is beginning to sleep through the night he also has a two hour nap a day and his Grammie seems to have the magic touch for getting him to sleep!
He has enjoyed going for a walk everyday with his mommy, Grammie and Ripley. Ripley is dealing with having a little boy rule his roast but I am sure in time he get along with him, right now he is a jealous puppy.
Today we went to the pediatrician and she said he is a healthy little boy! Yaaaaa! He will have an appointment with the cleft palate team in the next few weeks and will probably have his surgury in a few months.
Caleb had a play date with his cousin Olivia and that was lots of fun, can't wait for the next one! He has also gone to the grocery store. He just looks around and takes it all in. For the most part he is ok in his car seat but sometimes he just doesn't want to be in it. (They don't use car seats in most of China)

Oh my goodnees~he is SO cute! I love the picture of him in the striped shirt (I wonder who picked that one out???). He looks so happy and comfy. Glad to hear things are going well.

ReplyDeleteAhhh..love the pics. It is great checking this every few days to see updates and pic of your new snuggle bug!! It still brings tears to my eyes. He is a CUTIE PIE! Glad to ehar he is healthy and settling in at home! Can't wait to have a play date in the future & meet him.
